Nice to read how important the Nurburgring times and tuning are - how important the manual transmission is - and how enthused the Porsche engineers are.

This is the reason I would own a Porsche loooooooooooooooooooooooooooong before a Ferrari.

It would almost seem as if only Porsche and Corvette have actual race car drivers as the managers and program engineers involved in the concept, design, execution and not just the testing of their street cars.
