Default Lamborghini: 40 Years - The Book

Explore the fantastic history and rise of house of the bull
Author: David Jolliffe with Tony Willard

One of the world's most flamboyant and exotic marques since its introduction more than 40 years ago, Lamborghini automobiles personify the term "supercar." Written by Lamborghini insider and good friend to founder Ferruccio Lamborghini, David Jolliffe, this book outlines the story of the dedicated men behind the headlines who kept the exotic Italian automaker alive through a variety of custodians including Chrysler, Bugatti, and today, the Volkswagen Group.
More than just a collection of photos and technical descriptions, Lamborghini spins the inside story of the design and development of these technically advanced and sexily styled exotic cars that grace the garages of entertainers, VIPs, celebrities, and sports stars the world over. It culminates with the introduction of the all-new Lamborghini Gallardo, which debuted 41 years after the original 350GTV burst onto the automotive scene at the Turin Auto Show.
In his youth, author David Jolliffe dreamed of becoming a motor racing champion. After playing a key role with a Formula One racing team, Jolliffe became the first Lamborghini distributors in Britain and continued actively working with the company for more than 30 years. At the pinnacle of his sales successes with Lamborghini, Joilleffe was responsible for approximately 30% of vehicle sales worldwide. Today, he remains close friends with the people who were key players in the ever-changing fortunes of Lamborghini over the decades.
Lamborghini: 40 Years is available in a jacketed hardcover for $40.00 U.S. (192 pages, with 120 color photos, and 40 black/white photos) beginning in August 2004.

Oh...why a Gay-yardo on the cover? Gay-yardo does not reflect the Lamborghini spirit at all...Otherwise, it's sounds like a great read. All the financial problems, more than 5 different owners...

danke a007apl
