Default The new Volvo looks neither boxy nor sexy

It's as if Volvo's become Ford Europe's Mercury.

Not too bad, front is a bit too french and back is a bit too japanese. Needs more Volvo, but it's generically pretty

I think it looks really good, remember this is just a concept...I wouldn't mind a lot of this to be put on future production cars. It does look a bit tall though in the second pic...

what are you talking about? this won't be a production car, ever, and if it was, I'd take one home and "LITERALLY" make sweet, hot, sexy, spanky, raunchy, love to it" with Barry white's staying power in the background

I like it. It looks really good. Volvo designs are quite attractive in the main, these days.

hahahahha

if Volvo survives, I see "elements" of this car making into the S40, 60, 70 etc.

You're right. But it's clear now that they're moving away from the Horbury shoulders and any hint of Volvos ever being boxy. The result, to my eyes at least, seems like a recycle of the Ford Kinetic design. This car might as well be called Volvo Iosis.

Yeah, I like Peter Horbury's work too, and he's not working for Volvo anymore.
I like what he's doing with Lincoln.
