Default Ferrari Cruise - 360, 355, 328, 308's, 365's, 400i, Elise...

On Sunday I went along to another Ferrari cruise, this time in the passenger seat of one of the 365 GT 2+2's and the home in the fibreglass 308GTB.

It all ended with dinner at a restaurant overlooking the city skyline, lovely setting and talking Ferraris all night was great.

Unfortunately we got seperated from the pack at one stage so I missed out on a lot of photo opportunities. Nevertheless I ended up with a few keepers so here they are.....

Great pics again! My favourites are the one of the 365 on the move and the one of the F355 posing with tree, water and city in the background. Gorgeous!

Another awesome day out!

How was the 365? I don't know much about older Ferraris (apart from the obvious candidates). Is it a rapid car, or more of a cruiser? And what's a simliar modern Ferrari? Is it more of a 612 than a 430? Or more of a 575?

The car, sea, city in the distance combination always makes for good photoshoots. My personal favourite is the 355, though some of the classics are very close.

I did think about asking them to move, but then they started kissing and I thought it might be a bit rude.

Its definately more of a cruiser/luxury car, it even has electric windows! The brakes are shithouse, gearshift is slow and the cornering is dreadful, a huge turning-circle. However once going the acceleration ain't that bad, and that old V12 sure makes a great noise!
So definately not a F430-type car, more like the 612 in concept I think.

He is an associate member of the Ferrari club, since he is in the market for a 355 they allowed him to join.

yeah I did, but I turned around and headed for this one after about an hour or so. I like my WRX's, but Ferraris are better!

We actually saw some of the other WRX's returning while on the drive, as we also headed for the Mundaring area.

Definately an awesome sight/sound to see ~80 WRX's cruising the streets of Perth.
