Just thought i'd post a couple pictures of my guitars while everyone else was at it. Sorry no color shots but the electric (Schecter) is black with mother of pearl around the body and the acoustic (Fender) is cedar top so kinda a tan color.

nice guitars fella's!! ZfrkS62 nice ibanez! i have an RG570 (made in japan) its awsome! i'm not a big fan of digitec gear, sounds a bit nasty and " digital". i have a cry baby 535Q and i just use the distortion on my amp which is pretty high gain. I am looking at buying a Dual super lead or Tripple super lead. they are awsome. I teach at a guitar shop so i can get them for an awsome price.

my maton Acustic

i am a guitar nut. these pics have been posted before.

gottacatchup- awesome schecter! dunno if i'd ever own one but they sound great!

cho 888- beautiful acoustic! i've always likes that graphite color that Ibanez has. is that red one an RG series too? looks like they have the same body.

I think just the way they styled the RG series was brilliant. its not overy chunky and it has the sound to back up the look.

My S470 is pretty thin and doesn't sound quite as thick as the other series IMO, but i got it for $250 at a pawn shop so i guess i can't complain.

i'd like to actually learn to play it but right now i just don't have the time or money to. guess i just have to stick to getting tabs off the net

LMAO!!! power chords all the songs i know, i don't even know completely through. just a few bars ops: i have to admit, i'm kind of a poser when it comes to guitar. Bass i can hold my own, just don't quiz me on modes, scales or arpeggios(sp?) as i probably couldn't form one to save me life...not on purpose anyway. I can't read music (but hey, neither could Hendrix) and pretty much rely on tab unless i stumble upon the first few notes myself.

and my piece of shit squir p bass

At the moment I am forced to play a squire p bass, and yes it is shit. Ive known that is sucks for a while now, but I havent the $$ to buy something else. I was thinking of getting a musicman bass, or a G&L, but was also considering a Jazz Bass. My question is: did you notice a big difference in the sound between the p-bass and the J-bass? My understanding is that the J-bass has a punchier sound. What has been your experience?

Having a shitty bass is doubly annoying as I have a good amp (Hartke 3500) and a good cabinet (GK quad Box) which are being wasted on a crappy guitar
