Sadly, Frances is too big, so even if it changes direction, most of lower US East coast will be affected anyways. Frances is about the size of Texas and is supposed to bring winds about 140mph. I do hope that people are safe from the hurricane.

It's a Hurricane by the way, not a storm.

I have an old family member who lives in Ft. Myers, Florida.. Is that affected by the hurricane?

Yeah I am in FL, its is beating up our house with 60MPH winds. I can
hear the wind whistling in the roof :shock:

pacific ocean hurricanes are called typhoons and no Frances is still battering Florida. I'm not getting any of it yay!.
