its called the Ferrari Panamerican 20,000

Following the enormously succesful "Ferrari 15,000 Red Miles" last year, the Prancing horse has announced another difficult challenge: the Panamerican 20,000.
On August 24, two Ferrari 599 GTBs will leave Brazil. They will arrive in New York on November 17 having crossed 16 countries and travelled 20,000 miles (aprox 32,000 km).
The two berlinettas will cover 15 stages and will be on the road for 84 days. More than fifty journalists from the biggest titles in the world will take turns at the wheel.

Are Ferrari's actually capable of driving 20,000 miles without exploding?

FUCK YES!!! I'ts coming through Managua!!!...now where the can I get more info on this event? I'm guessing they will have to make a stop somewhere, to refuel in a Shell Gas Station perhaps. mmm maybe if I contact Shell of Nicaragua, they might know something...

Is there a calendar for the event around somewhere?

thank you for the pics!! and vids!
