Default How Many Languages Do You Know?

I'm just wondering. Since it came up over a coffee conversation at my friends shop.

Me coming from far Western Ukraine I kinda got to absorb a lot of languages.

I'm fluent in reading and writing and speaking in Russian, Ukrainian and English. All 3 I can speak equally, can write an essay on any theme in both. Being in Canada I actively use all 3.

I can also read and understand Polish, but I lost the ability to speak it. I could when I was a kid, but then I stopped using it...I stopped watching Polish television at about 11, up until then I could speak it, my mom would purposely speak to me in Polish on occasion at a young age. But then it kinda stopped Now I just understand it.

I also can read and understand Belurussian, except for the odd word. But cant speak it at all.

My dad on the other hand is fluent in english, polish, ukrainian, russian (he can speak and write in all 4) and he understands Czech and Slovakian and Belurssian and he can speak understand basic German.

What about you all?

3 languages. Portuguese, English, Spanish.

I can also understand some italian, because of the latin similarity and a bit of german ( i did 1 year of german classes, but quit), however i wouldn't say i know these as much as the 3 first.
