Busted
unfortunately i got my first speeding ticket... :cry:
cop didn't even say nothing, just took my license and wrote up a ticket, then threw it in the car and left...:fist:
how many points do u fet for 40 over (401), if any....also is x-copper any good?

he didn't explain anything to you? Like where to go to pay or fight it? Maybe you can get it overturned based on that.
I know here you can get a ticket over turned if they do something minute on the ticket like mis-spell your name, so i'm sure you could get it over turned for not explaining anything.

the officer should of told you all this (think it is 4 points)
he should/will also give you info on how to pay/fight it,
never needed to use x-copper so sorry don't know how good they are, but their fee's + court fee's you will prob. end up paying more then the ticket...

yah, but then there's insurance premium...well, its pissing me off cause now I can't fall asleep...dammit :x
he didn't even get my insurance...just got my license......haha it was like a transaction....

^^ aren't they supposed to take your insuance info as well??? Maybe this guy was just having a bad day and wanted to give someone a bullshit ticket just to piss them off

there was a snow fall here for the 1st time in maybe a month....lots of accidents...probably why
a ticket in russia for speeding at 140 is 140 rubles or about 4 USD....I could get pulled over 40x before i reach my fine....I think its about time canada got with the world standard..

Um, yeh. Maybe you should just pay, seeing as you were clearly speeding.
I'm on my Provisional 1 licence, so if I get caught twice for even the most minor speeding offences, I lose my licence. If it's double demerits, I'm gone after one offence.

There are a few really nice bobbies and then .... there is most of the force (that word is a bit misleading now).
Gone are the days of mutual respect between people and the police, particularly drivers :x , except a few good bobbies.
