Excellent news! This is just what F1 needed, more emphasis on driver skills! Looking forward to powersliding corner exits again!

BULLSHIT
this is F1, not Champ car, not Nascar, not any other formula series out there.
Epitome of technology... yeah right. There is still the difference between the Fernando alonso, and Fisichella even with the hyper exotic traction control systems

but even when they banned TC there weren't much oversteering guys out there. I personally don't think the spectacle will change much. Unless they have to change thier own gears with an H gate.

I was wondering when McLaren might put that on. Renault started it and most of the teams are using it already.
And Ferrari's got a new rear wing.
Have anyone noted any other aero changes that McLaren has tested at the airfield?

From espnstar:
Breaking news: Singapore to host F1 race in 2008
Singapore will host a F1 street race from 2008 for the next 5 years. In a press conference held moments ago, a night race is possible if all safety concerns are cleared.
The race will cover some of Singapore's most distinguished skyline across the Marina Bay and CBD (commercial business district) area.
More than 100,000 spectators are expected at the Formula 1 race in Singapore.
