On some points though, i believe that reagan had nothing to do with alot of things his administation did. He is kind of like a puppet, his advisors wrote him the script on what to say, and he delievered like a great actor. I believe that alot of the shit that went on wouldnt of led to him, but his advisors had basically controlled everything.
I disagree only because the actions of the man held too many compromises to the other side to get the goals which he set forth.

A little bit of irony for you.. Reagan began his career as a democrat..
By the 60s he was the foremost promoter of smaller govt, before he ever was elected for his first position even.

It's an expression.. It really has nothing to do with you particular and refers to you as the group(another valid meaning of the word you).

Edit- man that is hard to explain. Think of you as having to forms. One which refers to a single person who you are talking to. The other talking to everyone you are talking too.

For Gods sake please show a little more respect. No more Anti-Reagan posts on this thread please.

Political comments have their own forum now so please post those in there instead of here.

No ones anti reagan jabba, we are just talking about it in a calm debate. Jabba you must remember this site is a huge family, unlike other car sites were fighting and bitching runs rampant, we all get along but still can commence in non-heated arguments, no one goes offline thinking im gonna kill that bitch. This is all thanks to you though.

i dont think i can say much that hasnt already been said, at the same time, not enough can be said. President Reagan was the first president i knew in my lifetime, and also the most influential man who lived since FDR IMHO. when i was young, it seemed like he would be president forever, and i didnt realize the effect he had until years later. the world changed for the better because of his beliefes. when he spoke, the world listened; weather it was soviet premier, or Arab constituents (most powerful camp david accord sent ripples in the mid-east, and longest ever peace between the factions, and nations) in some ways, i felt as if i knew him like a grandfather, but i dont know why. i

RIP President Ronald Reagan
