Default Is The UAW History???

Hi All:

DaimlerChrysler is canning 9,000+ UAW employees. Looked at some figures for UAW membership and it's down around 550,000. In the mid to late 1970's they had 1.0 Million +. Seems their days are numbered.

Question is will we taxpayers end up footing the bill for their pensions via PBGA like we did with the Untied Steel Workers?

They just decided to close the chrysler plant near me. Thankfully Chrysler didnt take the buyout my state tried to give them to keep them going. The market decides what stands.
