Nissan GT-R Wins Motor Trend Car of the Year
http://www.motortrend.com/oftheyear/...t_r/index.html
Last year's winner, the Cadillac CTS, will have to pass on its crown to the GT-R. While I'm never really sure if the Motor Trend's COTY award is a blessing or a curse given many of its past winners, it's certainly a desirable title to have (especially for advertising.)

Still havent seen one of these on the street yet. Its just a magazine and internet fabrication, just photoshoped with lots of made up peformance numbers. A ruse. Doesnt really exist.

LOL, yea. I haven't gotten that issue yet, but it's so cheap, it's hard not to subscribe. They could probably give it away and be profitable given how much they can charge for advertising in their well-distributed publication.

I don't consider Motor Trend credible.
But...
evo Magazine (UK) also named the GT-R as their car of the year!

To be fair, reviews have generally been very positive. It's not surprising that a couple of magazines would rate it car of the year.
