It's the key hole. and the metal strip is the door knob. and the scoop on the door is just to pull the door out

that's what i see.

VERY NICE, the yellow with the black lines makes it look very agressive

those little holes are questionable since it's a test car I would guess they might be mounting points for cameras possibly.

When can you actually begin to buy this car. I keep hearing about delays in production. This might be one of the first prototype's a few lucky people in Detroit got to buy which is part Ford's testing for the car.

production has begun officially of the 2005 Ford GT. in theory, as well as in truth. a few lucky people in Detroit? well, in a broader sence, for now? yes.

ford likes to keep some things somewhat secretive still. but there are a few hitches in the develpment. thankfully, these problems are early enough in the productino stage to engineer these flaws out with reletive ease. the current car being built seems it will have a home in Jay Leno's garage.

i know of two specific problem areas. none of which are catastrophic, but rather annoyances. one of which, im sure Ferrari had concidered equally about the underbody design of the F50.

I've seen a couple of production-spec GTs running around Ann Arbor and in Birmingham, MI over the last few months, but didn't say anything b/c I didn't have camera-proof that I'd seen them at all. The holes are there on them. One of them is a keyhole and the other....well...that I'm not so sure about hehe.
