Me doesn't like  Why is it all set in the desert? The earlier films were creepy because the action took place in dark urban areas or underground, this totally spoils the theme.

You know what? It's probably because the next Resident Evil game is set in the desert.

same here, big RE fan...but I haven´t been completely happy with the movies...the first one I liked a lot, but the CGI sucked...the second one was pretty bad.

^^^ see i thought resi evil apocalypse was better than the 1st one because the 2nd movie was more based around the games.with it having actual characters from the game,were as the 1st movie didnt have any.

^^ you are right about characters...but the plot from the first one, even if it isn't really based on any of the games was so much better executed than the Nemesis story from the games...the second one was more of a shoot 'em up movie than the first one...also Mike Epps's character was completely out of place there...
I don't know what the plot of the new movie will be, but I'm hoping all the light from the desert ambient doesn't ruin the dark creepy mood from the whole game series...I also hope to see Leon on the third one...

i read early bits of the movie and i beleive Claire Redfield and Albert Wesker are in this new one.Jill Valentine isnt.
I think the desert theme is basically because resident evil 5 game is being based around those kinda conditions

ahh I did not know that about RE5! thanks for that bit of info...well we can only wait and see, I still haven't finished RE4, I got a hold of God of War II and I've become addicted to it...what a game! 10/10 IMO.

i aint played that,mind you i dont have a PS2 anymore.
theres not much been released on RE5,but theres a couple trailers out there.its released this year though.from what i last checked the character is Chris Redfield,favourite character of mine that.probably coz the original is still the best IMO
