Default [REQUEST] Information about the history of Top Gear

Hey,

First of all, I want to say: sorry that I haven't been around on JW lately. The reason is simple, I've got 13 examns is 3.5 weeks & that's crazy. Now I've got two weeks for studying before the actual examns begin.

One of the examns is an oral examn for english. You have to give a presentation about something you like for 5 minutes. I thought I would talk about cars, but since the teacher is a woman, that would probably bore her to dead. So I thought I can maybe talk about Top Gear.

What I would like: some articles that tell me a bit more about the history of Top Gear. I would like to tell something interesting about it and explain why it's considered to be the best show by 99% of the car fanatics.

thx in advance for you help!!

greetinz

The most interesting & complete info I've found so far about Top Gear & JC & all the others. Even if you don't have to make a presentation about it, it's quite interesting. It filled the gaps in the story that I didn't know till now.

a critical word from the Top Gear team can spell disaster in the sales department; this was most memorable in the case of the Ford Ka, whose sales plummeted when Clarkson decided that "it looks like a frog".

Thanx zippo for info The only old video which is around is rx7 vs 924 if I remember right

I've uploaded my presentation.

It involved some copy pasting of course.

It's spoken english, but I hope it's allright. Any remarks are allways welcome.

One of the only old videos yep. But there's also a video where Tony Mason reviews the Mini Cooper S. A real shame there aren't more around. But I suppose we should be thankfull for what we have (thx to jabba and some others), and that's allready a treasure!

I don't have it on my pc now, but when I'll find it, I'll upload it to my webspace. I'm at my student home now, so it can take a while.
