Default Photos TouristenFahrten Nürburgring 26-03-2005

Finally, the good weather is upon us. Went to the nordschleife last weekend to shoot some pictures with my new DSLR. Here is a rather small selection of the best photos.

http://users.pandora.be/jokke1/Photo...ife26-03-2005/

Hope you enjoy them

Cheers

This is for the "what you saw" section

And thanks. Sadly it's not really the best way to share them like that.. would be nice some sort of thumbnail preview or at least to rename the pics

Nice pics, thx Johan!

The quality is fantastic. I especially like the black Z8, GT2RS & M5

Did you do a lap on the NS too? And if yes, with what car?

Did Eline come with you? It's not really her kind of thing, is it?

Send her my regards when you see her

Too bad that wasn't a real GT2RS but hey still cool just the lights don't belong. What day did you go to the Ring, as i was there this past Saturday? If you have more pics add them using Thumbnails to Dodo's Nuerburgring Post. He is trying to get a Nuerburgring archive thread going.

@ all

Thanks for your compliments, you guys will see more of that the upcoming months ! Hope I can go to the 24-hours race.

@ Zippo

I have lapped the Nordschleife a few dozen time by now, but always as a passenger. Reason being; I don't have the car for it. I don't consider a VW Passat as a "ringtool". Ok, there as far more worse cars like mine on the track, but the difference in speed compared to most of them is too big. I'm much more into snapping pictures than driving there. Ok, maybe on a weekday when there is almost no traffic.
The passenger laps that I have made so far were in a Porsche GT3 (Swedish guy), Subaru Impreza (Dutch guy) and in my mates lotus Elise.

No, Eline wasn't with me on that trip, but she will visited the nordschleife somewhere this year. She is looking a forward to that, and she likes Porshes so ... It's the ideal place to spot that make

@ harryo2b

As you can see, the GT2RS is a tuned GT2. I don't know how much horses that car stocks, but I can tell you that without that wing on its ass it will take off It's a rocket when it starts to breath the air of the Grüne Holle !!! You can visit the tuner's website, maybe you can find some info about that car on it.

@ TT

I'm a bit confused here, you have moved it into "what you saw today". Although, that I have to admit I did post it into the wrong forum index the first time (today). I posted it into "pictures and video links", thought it belonged into " the offer pictures and videos" because the photos are stocked on the webserver of my provider. But he, don't get me wrong here mate, I don't want to nag about it, it's cool, I just don't want to do stupid things here.

I'm planning to start using a program that shows you the thumbnails, it's much more attractive.

Cheers

Yes indeed Wutputt. Those pictures are all taken with the D70 and 70-300 lens. Shutterspeed between 250 and 1000/s, not all pictures are taken on the maximum zoom range. Let me tell you something about the D70. The D70 is a bargain because, the sensor is really really good, you can say that all the hardware (electronic stuff) is comparable to the D1x. The picture quality is the same as you will get from the professional range of Nikon like the D1x. The only reason why this DSLR doesn't belong in the pro range of Nikon is because its body isn't made of magnesium and alloy. If you want the same DSLR as the D70 but you want a alloy and magnesium case you will have to go for D100, difference here is that you can shoot on iso 100 (D70 > 200 is the lowest) and like I have said before the more durable body. You can also say, that when you look at the body of the D70, it's rather an advantage than a disadvantage when you have to carry that camera with you whole day long. The less it weighs the better, just bit more comfortable. Although, it is the "cheapest" DSLR camera from Nikon it still is an investment. I mean "cheap" is here a relative thing. And the most important thing, when it comes to photography hardware, still is and has always been the lens.

You can find some great lots of info about the D70 and nikkor lenses on the following sites; http://nikon-imaging.com and http://www.dpreview.com maybe a bit silly that I give the latter one but what the heck

Succes with it, and let me know !!!

Cheers
