One of my best friends goes to Purdue and was dating a girl whose father was working on powertrain for the XLR...my buddy got to drive it and was pretty disappointed. He said it felt underpowered and that the steering was devoid of feel. He was pretty impressed with the amount of grip that the car had and told me that no matter what he tried he couldn't break rear traction (even with a little bit of brake-torqueing) Apparently 320bhp isn't enough :-/

A rather "special replica/rebuild" - apparently an original cobra chassis, with new-old-stock engine, drive-train and fibreglass body.
But who knows - there are as many "this is a special Corba replica" stories out there as Cobra replicas...
