Took a trip to Laguna Seca today (Corvette Z06 and More)
Had gone to the area 100's of times in my life but never actually been there. They let us in for free and we met this guy in his new Z06 trying to see the famous corkscrew, so we followed him.
We hit a few closed gates/restricted areas, and gave up.
So we just ended up watching the Skip Barber students race a few laps.
And some others practicing drifts
P.S. That was like the 4th Z06 I had seen today. They are selling well it would seem.

Sounds like you had a great time. I live about 5 minutes from Laguna Seca, and I frequent the place often. I was once able to score a ride inside a Skip Barber Viper a few years back.

Watching a race at Laguna Seca is deffinitly worth the money. You have to stop by Laguna Seca during August when all the exotic cars are in town for the Concours d'Elegance and Concours Italiano.
I'm hoping to land an internship at Skip Barber once I get back home during the summer.

I will be there for damn sure! Nothing like it in the world. Only time/place you can get passed by a Mclaren F1 and a 1920 Mercedes on the freeway in the same day.
