Detroit Red Wings v. Pittsburg Penguins Stanley Cup
I think it's coming home to Detroit again this year... anything can happen....
Should be interesting to say the least.... especially in a time when Hockeytown is more a Baseball town.... Hopefully Detroit will still represent well.

Detroit's Samuelson just scored the "first" (second) goal [ officials recanted 1st goal ]
Wings winning in the 2nd period 1-0
Detroit Tigers are Ripping open the Minnesota Twins in the 8th inning @ 19-3
Pistons are currently down 47-30 in the 2nd quarter at home... but still a lot of time

i hope the Pens win. as long as they can get the two wins at home now, they'll be back in the series. don't be like Dallas and wait till it's 3-0 before they start turning things around becuase then it's too late.
but as of now, it looks like it might be a sweep for Detroit.

wont be good for hockey if the pens dont score.
being a sharks fan, got to say that detroit had a great year, and if htey win will it do anything for increasing fans for hockey outside of detroit and just like the world series, could possibly the lowest watched stanley cup all due to sweep
Mod edit Run on sentence..... didn't want to help it really..... NO CAP LOCKS

I don't think it will be the lowest watch stanley cup if the Penns don't score, but the way that they are playing it shows at least at the moment that the Eastern Conference is sort of a joke, I mean Penns were so dominate in their 3 rounds and Detroit had a rough series against Nashville and Dallas (Colorado was a joke, lol) but its Detroit that is killing them. Of course that can all change with Game 3 tomorrow, but I am all up for a sweep for Detroit, show the NHL that Crosby isn't that big of a deal. GO WINGS!!!!
Edit for the guy above here is a link to prove your statement very false

Game 5
2 OT
Who will win?
Red wings dominated the 3rd period, and the 1st OT.... some great shots
One penalty against (via Divorsky - the most anti redwings ref in existance) in the first OT
Come on now..... JUST END
hehe
