Default Aug06, Lamborghini Affolter, MUST SEE,Miura SVJ, Diablo GT..

Well it was about time to make the trip do Affolter thanks to Darkel for boosting me! On their website we saw a 360CS and a CGT that really made me take the decision LOL (never saw the CGT outside a motorshow so far).. of course neither was there LOL. The CGT just sold, the 360CS is owned by a customer wich has it at home and sells it through them... but who cares.. this is one of two Swiss dealership (not many contries have two official ones I think), and the biggest one! The lineup was mouthwatering: Diablo GT (again), SV, SVR, VT, EVO..., Countach, Murci and Gallardo even to many! And BIG surprise! In a separate room they keep a private collection! Sadly impossible to access the room to take pics, but since there were, between others, a Miura SV and an SVJ (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!), I had to take at least a couple from outside! There was even a gullwinged Merc SL (impossible to take a pic), a Diablo racing car (at least), various roadgoing Diablos, an LM002 and more! Crazy!

In the end I was away roughly 6 hours all included! not really "next door", but not to hard since I left home at 8 am.

Well enough talking, here are the pics!

TWO THINGS:
- EVERY PICTURE IS CLICKABLE FOR HIGH-RES, MOST OF THE TIME 1600X1200, A COUPLE OF THEM ARE 1280 i THINK
- YOU ARE FREE OF COURSE TO POST ALL MY PICS ON OTHER WEBSITES. ANYWAY THERE IS MY LOGO ON THEM, AND SINCE A COUPLE OF PERSONS ASKED, I THOUGHT IT WAS A GOOD IDEA TO STATE THAT, ALTHOUGH I TOUGHT IT WAS OBVIOUS

Here is a view from outside that little paradise on earth

First of all, one of the most frantic sightings I EVER had!! Not only my first Miura (yes, never saw one in the metal before ).. and sexy SV in white, but also an HYPER RARE SVJ apparently!!!
Sorry for the blurry pics, but they were locked away and I had to take the pics through an armored window

Off topic, but still Lambo a boat engine

A couple of nice Countach.. the brown one is an LP400.. the other?

Now a big load of Diablos of any kind!

This was a 30th Anniversary edition

Not to shabby at all!!

One of the two "Evo"

My second "GT" to date!!! WOW!!!

Very nice that "Le Mans blue"

An SVR

Also an Espada

What about the present models? Some Gallardo and Murcielago:

The 40th Anniversary is sure a nice one

A couple of group shots: Diablos

Of course I also had to takea look "behind" the dealership

Time for some Ferraris:

Ferrari 348

Ferrari 360 Modena

Ferrari 456GT

Ferrari 550 Maranello

A couple of Testarossa, nice white one!

What about a rare XJ220? Here you are!

Some AMG beasts. Nice rims on the SL

The Wiesmann roadster

Sexy GT2.. on their website they had also a yellow one.. sadly not there today

American muscles lurking in the shadows

--

And after all those crazy cars, a couple of "plain" RS4:

A couple of pics taken on the road.. it was a VERY nice trip.. 50% highway, the rest splitted between A roads and contry roads, perfect for spirited driving and basically nobody around!! Much fun

No idea why, but this little road was calling me.. that's why I had to add a filter to it to bad I had no time to explore

Not really up into the mountains, but quite apline place it was!

My baby, resting a little while

--

Final bonus, coming back home I found this at a Mercedes dealership

WOW!! nice pics TT. fuckin amazing. that gt is sweeeeeeeetttttt.

when you transition thru the models and years like that, it shows how something kind of got lost in the mix between diablo and murci. dont get me wrong, i LOVE the new audi approved cars, but the Diablo is still my all time favorite

o yeah and GT2 =

dont you have a job!?!?!?
My job is to please you all

Seriously, even if I should maybe focus a bit more on other things, for me to take pics of nice cars is absolutely one of the best things I can do, and a day like today (6 hours to cover 360 km and take around 120 pics and then another 3 or 4 hours of picture editing and posting) is great fun!

Thanks to all of you for actually taking the time to watch them and reply

(of course there is always somebody moaning, see the guy in "car gallery" saying there are to many lambo pics LOL)

AMAZING !!! there are no words good enough to do justice to the job you have done this time....TT

Very well presented as well. I enjoy your text descriptions and build up intro....absolutely marvelous.

I noticed some yellow wheels on one of the Diablo's...looks like there is another idiot out there that painted some lovely chrome wheels yellow as well.

HAHAHA yup indeed! Still quite rare

that road that went into the forrest was great, I was expecting a dark rider to come out there one a black horse with armour, I feelt like a little hobbit when I saw that pic.....high resolution?????
Now you scared me!! And if you want higher res, here it is , redone with added also some sort of darkness

BTW, does somebody have any info about that particular orange SVJ?
