Well now that I've seen this I know one thing: The new M3 definately sounds a lot better than this!

^I really don't think you should compare this with the M3. The wheel spin seems to be 1 sided, isn't there an LSD in this thing?

Hmm.. definitely seems like they went more towards AMG than M-Power.

And it was definitely spinning both tires, no way they wouldn't skip the LSD, this isn't the Porsche Gayman ;P

It's a fair comapro. The IS-F was designed to be direct competition for the RS4 and M3 and most likely the new C63 as well.

However, I think Lexus has a ways to go to catch up to these three as far as raw performance and driving excitement goes.

Yeah, they need to work on their intake sound quality. It sounded like one of those stupid 'warm' air intake systems, where someone has just drilled holes in the air box... I couldn't even hear the exhaust.

So we can conclude from this video it has poor traction, can't turn and is a slug?

Exactly what I was thinking. The M3's intake with 8 individual throttle bodies sounds so much growling and screaming than this.

@ 5vz-fe: I definately consider this to be a M3/RS4/C63 rival. It's the same type of car, in the same price class, with comparable power.
