I was wondering if anyone has an opinion on a good helmet company that isn't to expensive but good quality. I've been looking around but I would like some opinions. thanks in advance.

Youll want to mention which type.

Motor racing and motorcycling have different ratings and padding in different areas.

Assuming you want racing I would suggest Bell.

for motor racing and a full face, i would go with Bell. Both of my families helmets are Bell, and we love them to death.

Good that you mention this, I want to buy some driving gloves and helmet too. A year from now, I will be going to Sebring, Florida and paying 3k for a 3 day racing school. I always wanted to have a helmet. Wether it'd be like the one the STIG uses or the F1 drivers.

I've seen many use these

but I dont want to pay 100$ for them lol.

Where can I buy (online USA shop) driving gloves and helmet?

EDIT - RONIN those helmets SHOE look great! Why exaclty are some 699 and others 399? What is the big difference?

Arai helmets are pretty damn expensive. The F1 style ones are 900-1200 USD. the crash helmets like they give on TG for the stars are about 390-440 USD. and i really dont like the crash helmets. thsoe are for the 2005 models.

Also be sure you get a helmet with a high enough rating for the school.(typically snell rating.)
