Default '69 Chargers value skyrockets

This is not good for anyone wanting a Charger (i.e. ME! )

http://aolsvc.news.aol.com/movies/ar...03074609990001

Interest in the film appears to have increased the car's value 64% over the past six months, from $28,200 in January to $43,900 in July, according to Kelley Blue Book.

The publication, which tracks used-car values, says Chargers with a powerful "hemi" engine are worth triple that.
There go my dreams of having a Hemi

Fortunately only 26 chargers were used in the movie. Not quite as painful as the hundreds written off for the show, but still. If i ever end up with 40K to blow on anything, i'm blowing it on a Charger

don't worry. By the time you have saved some money, chargers will be again at a decent price.
it has always happened with "cool" cars. As I remember, also the mustang fastback ahd a price increase with that gone 60 secs movie.
So better start saving and in some years those chargers will be at 69k, but a can of cocacola will be at 10usd
