Today marks the start of the american Nascar series.
While nacsar can be rather boring with its oval tracks and all its restrictions and rules its still something race related.
I like how the first race of the season is the biggest as far as publicity and stuff. Kind of get all that junk out of the way in the first race.

What do you think about the pausterization of all Nascar cars? The stickers are the only modification between different brands's cars. Why not trying something more related to the actual car, like german DTM? The way it is, it is only for americans.

The US has Speed Touring car which is like DTM in that respect. I believe it is far better that NASCAR for two reasons:
1. they don't race on circles
2. they are actually modified stock cars (the way NASCAR is supposed to be)
3. it's just plain awesome racing

You guys heard about the new IMAX-3D film on nascar? Heard about it on TV, looks promising, not sure if I'm going to watch it though.
