Does that mean they will get rid of the Top Gear track and have to start all over again with their powerlap times?

they need one closer to jeremy house, because with the GT40 he won't have enough fuel to get to work
intresing, wonder what the new facilitys will look like, and this also ensure's BBC intends to keep top gear going for a while!

Maybe they're moving to cheaper location?

Clarky's building a whole new building. It'd be an illogical way to save money.

It's kind of cool that they are moving but the thing about the track is that most airports have very similar runways so it might be possible that they could recreate the track at the new location.

A good occasion to re-test all the cars previously tested on the current track So we would be able to see Enzo, Zonda CGT and co. on a new track

thats assuming the BBC has the money to hire all those cars again after they build the new set.
i'm really hoping that they would retest all cars of course, all with the same stig and hopefully in nice dry conditions to keep them consistant.
i think possessed_beaver is right on the money about the Ford GT comment, it would cost Jeremy a fortune to drive to work, i bet, so its only natural to move Top Gear closer to the most important presenter.

Hmmm...they won't be doing the laptimes again, they'll probably just duplicate the current track. Afterall it was designed by Lotus. I hope the new track has a longer runway Good for highspeed runs

Hm... interesting. I wonder why they decided to do this? Hopefully they'll have a new and improved track, and yes, ideally, get all those cars back to do slightly more fair power lap times. Thanks for the update and the pics of the airfields (btw, talk about middle of nowhere surrounded by fields. cool countryside.)

I doubt they would bring all the cars back, and trying to re-create the course would be difficult. I think they will just either start over, or go back to the old track for lap times.
I think its good he can now afford to drive his GT to work

Thnaks for the info, lets indeed hope for a longer runway also does 20 days a year use seem a bit short to anyone else?? organising all the cars and cramming the filming in to those 20 days a year will be difficult surely?
