Default Batman TAS
I remeber this show from when i was a kid...


saw an episode a while ago and decided to get the whole series....

I forgot how amazing it was...dark...

Anybody else watch it as a kid...

also I can't wait for the Dark Knight...only 2 years away...

yeah, i remember it. Mark Hamill did the Joker's voice

Looking back, there were a few pretty dark episodes, weren't there?

Hell yeah, oldschool cartoon. Looking back I find it strange it was aired between kiddie TV programs, Batman had a very creepy atmosphere to it. I loved the style of drawing.

well, if you really think abou Bruce Wayne's backstory, it doesn't have much room to be upbeat.

You have essentially an orphan (2 orphans if you want to count Robin) going up against villians with equally disturbing backgrounds.

The guy lives in a huge mansion with his butler, and makes a fucking cave his HQ.

It's also an exercise in some serious denial if you think about it. Batman is just a regular guy with a tool belt and overly built car, yet is lumped in with actual superheroes...

That's what makes him so cool. He has no superhuman powers, yet he can do the stuff all the other superheroes can do using all this cool shit and a fancy car.
