Spa: CGT, GT2, GT3 (RS), Maser 450S, 550 Maranello, f355,...
It has been a while since I've posted some Spa track day pics. Shame on me ![Very Happy](images/custom_smilies/veryhappy.gif) So I've given myself a mission: I'll post new Spa track day pics daily during the last days of this year. I still have to edit a shitload of pics, so I'm confident I'll accomplish.
I shot these pics in July and as on most sunny days there was a lot of activity going on and some really nice cars turned up. You can find all the high-res pics by following this link. Sometimes the page will load slowly, so you'll have to be a bit patient, sorry for that
Let's start with the most eye-catching car that day, this yellow Carrera GT. It's the same car I've seen a couple of times before, but it still looks amazing.
Spa track days equals a lot of 996 GT3 RS. And this day was no exception.
Vintage fever with this gorgeous Maserati 450 S. I was really amazed to see this beauty attacking the Ardenne hills lap after lap.
And what about this nice f355. The badge on the backside said it was a challenge, but I always thought those always had the black rear grill as standard? Nevertheless a great looking car, certainly in this colour.
IMO this is one of the best panning shots I've ever taken. It looks really clean.
I was also able to shoot a good panning pic of this M3 CSL. It really was my day.
A mean looking Noble M12 GTO and this colour really suits the car well!
And to finish with, this black 996 GT2. IMO black isn't the best colour for this car, but still you can't say no to it.
You can find the other pics and the high-res verions by clicking on this link.

Gorgeous Pics again
I can only comment on the previews above at the moment (Imageshack isn't loading for me)
The CGT is the british one we have seen before, and the RS's are British too - it's good to see these cars are being driven and not cooped up in a collection. And nice to see so many British cars making the journey across to the great Spa circuit 8)
Masser looks fabulous, and so does the GT2. The panning shots you have taken look great too! 8)

Stunning......as usual at these trackdays!!!!
Even if we've seen the CGT before its still great, especially when its a colour other than the usual silver. ![Very Happy](images/custom_smilies/veryhappy.gif) ALot of other nice 911's too, with the 996 GT2 my favourite - such a brutal car.
The 355 is a tough one, it has alot of the Challenge features (tow hooks, roll cage, seats etc) but as you mention not having the grille is strange...
Thanks for the update, and great news that there is more to come soon.

BTW, I just realize many of those cars were also at the Ring a bit later.. JC in his 550, the CGT, the E60, SL65, Westfield, for sure some of the RS... I guess many ppl decided to combine that Spa trackday with the Modena Motorsport days and some laps at the Ring

Yes indeed. If people have to travel far to go to Spa or the Ring, most of them combine it. It's a package you can't resist

Hi Wutputt,
Seems to me that you are really getting a hang on taking panningshots :good: , all three shots are very good plus that it are three very nice cars as well :good:
The other shots are all keepers too as far as I'm concerned. The helmet on the yellow CGT is a very nice detail 8)
Great to see so many Stüttgartners
Keep up the good work mate, keep that shutter going
Cheers

Better me as I look on Porsche Carrera GT. There is brilliant and unique. Beautiful also GT3 RS. It is god's BMW M3, but I would not scorn cars remaining also.

That yellow CGT and the GT3 RS must be part of the "Ring Package", you're always sure to see them there
Nice panning shots you did, the second IS (yup I've become a Canon addict ![](http://www.supercarfrance.com/forum/images/smiles/icon_spy.gif) ) mode seems to be working well (I don't forget the man behind the cam ![Very Happy](images/custom_smilies/veryhappy.gif) )
