Spa: 360 CS, Challenge, 996 GT3 (RS), 993TT, 964 RS, etc.
Yep, another Spa track day topic. These pics are about 6 months old, taken on a sunny day in June. I've already posted a few Ferraris (those who didn't actually took part in the track day, but were present anyway) a few months ago, so I won't be posting those again. I'll only post trackday contenders today.
As with the other Spa topics, you'll find the high-res pics on a seperate page.
This day there was a rather big amount of GT3's driving around. Since I like the swan-shaped rare wing of the mkI more than the mkII straight wing, I'll start with this nice mkI GT3:
A detailed picture of Manthey Racing tuned GT3:
One of my all time favourite Porsches is the 993 Turbo. And when it's shoed with some BBS LM wheels, it even looks more gorgeous:
A strange 930 Carrera RS. Strange, because it has the rear wing of a 911 Carrera RS. Nontheless it looks fantastic.
It's always fun if a 360 CS turns out to be there. When this Italian beast passes by WOT, a shiver of joy climbs up my spine. It sounds so lovely and loud.
A view on Eau Rouge with a 964 RS in the background. Impossible to catch the steepness of this corner into a picture. You've to witness it yourself to get an idea how steep it is.
Donkervoort D8, a Dutch breed which is rare to catch:
Palmer Jaguar. It featured in Top Gear a few seasons ago. Nice colour.
And let's finish with this badass 996TT. No idea which tuner does these kind of changes, but it looks good.
All other pics can be found on this page.

I nominate that Wutput get's his own trackday photo sticky thread... Farging awesome set each time he posts.
I am 1000000% sure I would be a very active photo-hobbyist if I lived so close to so many awesome race tracks--- good show as usual.

I cant wait till the race track days start up at queensland . I live about 100km away from that track, but there are always nice cars there.

I really admire these guys who take there cars out on the track! :good:
Is there any type of official timing where you can see the lap times of different cars?
As for the pics, stunning as ever. The CS is the standout for me, I just can't get enough of that car. That 993 and 996 Turbos are both fantastic aswell!!
Thanks a ton!

100km? I used to think 100km was a long ways when I lived in Cape Town.. now 100km.... 60 miles is a morning commute - throw in a trip to a few stores, a mall and maybe a visit to a friend, and I have a 120 mile day hehe

Well, I live about 130 km from Spa-Francorchamps. But distance is a relative measure. The time it takes to travel the distance is more important. Since the biggest part of the drive to Spa is on the highway, and traffic isn't too dense, it takes me about 1h15 to be there. And that's worth the nice cars

550 or 600 hp, or that's at least what the Sportec website says

I haven't seen any official timing on regular track days. Would be cool though, but maybe also a bit dangerous. Cause many drivers will try to beat their lap time or want to be faster than another driver. And I'm sure some will crash eventually by doing that.
