Wow, nice, I expected a boring video but it's real highspeed Best Motoring action. Quite a difference at speed, the RUF seems so much more easy.

That's pimp. That F40 shifting in mid-bank is B-A-D-A-S-S!! I swear I heard some Star Wars sound effects right at the shift...?

what would you classify them as?

they built, what... 25 CTR's right? each one the same (more or less) costom aero work, costom wheel sizes, suspension.... all different then the 911 it came from

they may not be a full blown PAG... but they are cirtainly more then just a tuner

Fatty is right - RUF is one of the few "tuners" who don't just tune..

It is seems easier to be a ceritified as a manufacturer in Germany than else where..

I was one of the people proving you wrong.

And now again, as Alpina is also a manufacturer.

so you get a car, you buy parts from different sources : lighter Mahle pistons, replace the steel con-rods with titanium ones , get some bigger turbines from IHI or KKK, put some bigger Brembo breaks, strengthen an already produced gearbox, add a bodykit (in-house made ?) and a all of a sudden you`re a producer.........interesting
