Default Oops. Smashed a window...

Well, my "lets get everything clean for FITP" (a car show) extended to the house. I decided to mow the lawn! A good thing I though.

Now, lets just set the scene. The back of the house comprises of 3 double glazed sliding doors leading to the kitchen, living room and study.

I got about 10 strips of lawn down and then CRACK!

I just put a stone through one of the doors!! I sense an expensive bill awaits me!

I'll try and get a pic later. It looks quite cool, as the glass has not fallen down yet, but it is 100% shattered haha. Oh dear....

damn~ thats cool... i mean, that sucks

sorry to hear about the impending glass replacement bill jon... but definately worth sharing. im sure that home-owners insurance would cover it (if the deductable is less then the glass replacement)

dont you wish you had a high speed vid-camera to watch it happen in slo-mo

that happened at my parents old house once. The renters hired a gardner to keep up the back yard (which was a f******* mess when they moved out) and while he was using the weed whacker, it flung a rock into the sliding glass door (or so they say) effectivley doing the same thing that happened to you.

that sucks dude

FITP is Sunday!!

Insurance has been informed. The window will cost £400 to replace, but we will only pay the £50 excess.

I think I should just have it laminated, I quite like it!
