C&D said it will be FWD so I can confirm that one about 90%
not sure about the power.

if its FWD, then it's a waste of a car.

It's because it is the exact same car since they are both GM cars.

rumor is it will at some point have a turbo or supercharged eco tec putting out 240. GM wants saturn to have "flagship" roadster, meaning it needs to be faster than the solstice, and of course a little more expensive but not much. FWD makes it worthless though. that really sucks. it could have been a fun little roadster.

oh god it better not be FWD, else I'd burn down the Saturn dealership (what else do they have in there that's worth anything?)
Interesting choice to sell the Opel GT under the Saturn badge. Perhaps this will elevate their image
The car looks to be pretty sweet too. Nice and mean looking

I agree with findleybeast, Saturn doesn't have anything good to offer except the Sky. However you can buy a Vue with the Honda Pilot drivetrain, but the Vue is too ugly. GM should have offered the reliable Jap drivetrain in the Equinox instead, WTF were they thinking! As far as the Sky is concerned perhaps we are being setup for a disappointment. Don't get me wrong the rwd roadster looks awesome, but for $20,000 we probably shouldn't expect too much as the car will probably be underpowered.

well if it's good enough to be released as an Opel as well, then I don't think it could be too bad. I wonder which company it was originally designed by? Or if it was a joint venture?

I'd give it to Opel to have designed it... I mean Saturn designing a sports car? It'd look like all their other sedans and have 120 bhp to the front wheels...
