Or just dislike Canada with a passion.

I have spent a couple days searching and have failed to uncover a single redeeming quality with regard to Canada.

It seems to just be a collection of pitiful people all huddled together in a corner just existing.

No passion.

No pride.

No nationalism.

No self-worth.

No self-promotion.

Other than "Aye..." there isn't even a redeeming "cultural ID" either.

And it would seem for Canadians to make a name for themselves, they have to move out and get famous..

Almost as if Canada is like that non-descript artificial "nation" that is always portrayed in sci-fi movies.

The "nation" that has tried to perfect everything but mastered nothing.

The failed "model state".

Dude why do you have so much against canada?

All of your post defy the point of this topic. They have nothing to do with hockey. Nobody cares about your views about Canada, if you wish to state your racist views of Canadians I don't want to hear about it in a random topic. Not the first time you've 'injected' a topic with interest.....just want to talk shit to piss ppl off. Personally I think you're an idiot....and if some inconsiderable Canadians hit a nerve with you by being anti american, I guess u feel its your duty to point out their faults......Well bravo
Edit: Was going to suggest that u start a topic on bashing Canada but I guess you've already thought of that, congrats ... topic 'Canada what is it good for'.......where's that button for sarcastic clapping

That's the beauty of life - we're all free to think what ever we want..

Which brings us back to the topic... who cares if there is no hockey because of some labour dispute...

I have tried to watch ice hockey - but it is too distracting trying to get past all the blood and violence of the body checks and high-stick swings.. - at least field hockey has continuity like soccer and rugby.

I have the same dislike for grid-iron. No continuity.

you just can't keep track of were the puck is ,
high-sticking is a called very low,
and you right oz rules and rugby a not violent sports

the irony of RC....
And it would seem for Canadians to make a name for themselves, they have to move out and get famous..
lol, first off canadians move to make money, the US is a larger market, and you have more chances of making money. so artist move out to make money, but almost all famous canadians come back to canada, and are proud of were they come from.

and the irony of you claim is this, you are someone that has moved out of your home country to make a new life for yourself just like canadian artist do. so it is like you are making fun of people just like your self,

and back on track,
hockey isn't the first sport to have problems like this. look at baseball it took them like 10 years to recover from their lock out. so this is bad news for hockey.

But unlike those clowns, I am not "leeching off the US" only to run home and point fingers at the US - but had no problems getting rich off the very system they later call out..

Oh the "poor" baseball players and owners... and the "poor" hockey players and owners... they can't work out the terms of their labour agreement... what kind of sport even needs a "labour union"...

I am surprised all you liberal socialists can even stand to support a sport that glorifies over paid louts - while most of the fans are blue collar labourers..

Maybe the hockey players should join the iron and steel workers union... or better yet the united autoworkers.. LOL
