Mine did 6:15 in an Audi R8 on superhards during 24hour 'ring, so never really had a clear lap.

I reckon a 6 minute lap is on with quali tires, a 'ring setup and a clear track

Alright just got done with my lap times and boy am I suprised as fuck?
I believe I got somewhere between 5000-6000 points on my bitch.

Lap #1: 8:40.169
Lap #2: 8:51.923
Lap #3: 8:47.507
Lap #4: 8:53.745
Lap #5: 8:42.491

Thats just VERY fucking odd right there!

Ok, I finally did it

My minion's stats are

And he did..

set on 5 a 8:39.097
set on 4 a 8:38.937

then I tried to remove the ASM and let him with only TCS set at 1.. and watched a movie while he was lapping (The Eye BTW).

He did a total of 72 laps poor guy more than 1700 km

And he had a best lap of 8:37.346! Amazing

RC, I believe that the F1 car never gets worn out because you can't give it an oil change. Mines got 5,000 miles on it and the HP is the same.

Setting 5 should not be called push, but rather drive like a dumbass. I find 4 is the fastest setting on most laps. Sometimes 3 is better because the chances of mistakes are lower. I usually never put it on 5 to catch up to the lead because he usually ends up doing worse (I just lose). My guy has like 7,800 points.

I had a few minor off-track excursions, but no wall-impacts on this lap...my first attempt at a lap was an 8:24, but then I had a major crash on the second lap...so I started over and this was the result:



OK...not sure if you're interested, but I've got another challenge also on the Nordschleife. Go to the Super-License Final test and run it as fast as you can. I've made a total of 3 complete laps, the first was slightly outside of Silver, the second and third were both Gold.

can you do the same in arcade - timetrial mode where it actually shows car power/weight and tires used .. also what controller are you using ?

using the logitech GT Force Pro and I'm on sports medium, with everything else stock, as for matching that lap in Arcade...yeah, I can try, but no guarantees lol

edit: OK, here's the lap you wanted...it's about a tenth slower, but it's the best I can do in relatively short order. Again, the car is stock except for a car wash and some oil...everything else, including ASM/TCS is stock.

BTW I discovered I had never done an all change on this car.. result (better lap too, its not all because of the extra 11 bhp it gave me for the oil change)



I have ACS/TCS all set to 0 ( I hate having a computer decide how to control the car )

I'll try in timetrial mode too because I'm not sure if the few extra horsepower you get in GT mode by doing an oil change also affects the arcade car :-/

edit:

arcade -> time trial within a few tenths .. definitely has a few less HP though

Well now...see that's no fair...I did all my testing with ASM and TCS in stock settings, i.e.. at 10, 10, and 7 in GT mode and just "on" in Arcade...I'm sure I could probably shave off a few more seconds with them off.

well I said right from the start of the thread I wasn't using that ASM bullshit and had turned TC right down.. its not my fault you were so eager to jump in you didn't read the topic properly before replying
