i say they were trying to drift on the road to the left of the cliff side and because there were no guard rails strong enough to hold that mammoth machine, naturally, it lost control and rolled down into the concaved plateau where u see them stand......
....this is all theoretical of course..

Last thing I heard of that picture was that they were using a F-550 which was no good anymore, and then the capabilitie's of the dump truck. C&D ran an article on the truck, and showed the picture too. fyi, no hate.

It appears as though it rolled over nose first, notice the bent ladders
that are just below the front grille. Considering that, my guess is that
it rolled of a drop off that is just behind the camera so you can't see it.
They accasionally get cought in a situation where they are driving up a
ridge that's barely wide enough to accomodate there wide track and
then all of the sudden the ground starts to break out from under them.
I can tell you for sure that it didn't just roll over, they have to low of a
center of gravity, are to heavy and can't go fast enough to flip around
the turns.
