I dont want to be bad, but this true what you said about your uncle. Because, never I would have sold one of my favorite car of all the times.

It's not bad at all, Schwalbe. My uncle has had every sort of car* from Triumph Spitfires to old MGs, through to Escort Cosworths, and then he bought the Carlton. If my memory serves me correctly, he had the airfilters upgraded, a new exhaust system, dumpvalves, had the boost cranked up and had it chipped. I'm 90% sure that he said it was 500BHP (maybe slightly less) as the "standard" is 377BHP. However, he got bored of having stoplight Grand Prix, so he sold it and bought an XKR which has launch control, meaning that 99% of cars (mainly boy racers) are toast.

*He's a flash bastard. He once took a Porsche 911 for a test drive and didn't buy it only because no-one stopped to stare at him!!
