The worst news I could bring...
Hi.
I've been informed by my ISP, that gives me the hosting space I use to host the Best Motoring videos I publish, that from now on, anytime someone tries to download a file bigger than 0,5Mb from my server, will get terribly slow transfer rates. They said this is to limit the bandwidth to avoid abusive downloads.
This means that, if I can't find some other way, of if no one can help me, I have no other choice but not posting any more videos.
Sorry...

A half a megabyte, what are they trying to prove?
I could understand perhaps maybe a 10 or 20 megabytes
but a only half a megabyte insane. Unless it's a free
service, is that the case? And how slow will they cut it to
after the Half megabyte barrier is reached?

Well, I'm pretty sure in the terms of the contract you will find something about that... of course the free space you get is just meant for personal use, not for massive abuse posting vids on big boards and getting lot of GB consumed.
It's not a surprise and you have to consider that many ISP (like mine), just gives you an email addy and stop. That's why I bought my own domain.. and I suggest you, if you want to keep offering vids, to invest some 10 USD / month to have your own domain with full control over it

I didn't understand it was free for you but if it's the case then it's not surprising that they want to limit traffic, moreover if you post your videos in the [OFFER] section and in Supercar.net forum .
