Good lord...your poor spelling is giving me a headache...
but that's not the point...anyway, here we go...

Last time I checked on any public survey, BMW trounced MB. I've even seen surveys where the respondents preferred Audi's...
I promise you that if BMW could made a car in the SLR terrotory they would. You are talking liek this is the firs sporty car mercedes has built you need to check up some history beacuse there have been many...
Yes, I'm aware of them. My late grandfather had an orignal 300SL, and a 250SL. Including the original CL. I'm not saying the SLR is the first, I'm saying it was a poor attempt at regaining lost ground.
And then on top of all you say that BMw is the standard when it comes to performence regarding passenger cars. I have to make a correction They WHERE the standard not anymore.
Really? Mind showing ALL OF US an article where a stock MB outperformed a stock BMW?

You won't find any mate.
Its the same situation when you say that merc built good cars but dont anymore.I didnt forget that the mclaren F1 hand a bmw engine but notice i have never said that Bmw made bad engines they make in my opinion one of the best in the world but dont forget that in the mclarens performance the construction has a grater part then the engine..By the way there are many crazy fast cars with Merc ingenes like the Zonda..
Just like you pointed out that the McLaren was just as much construction as it was the engine, the same goes for the Zonda. I never said MB doesn't build good engines either.
Mind you, the Zonda has an
AMG-tuned V12MB engine. While the Mclaren uses a regular BMW one. It's not M-tuned.
And by the way The CLS will eat the Ugly 6 and u know it and you are afraid i know it. hahahhah.
hahahhah. The CLS is a sporty four-door luxury saloon, not a two-door GT. It is therefore much heavier, less agile, and runs on an automatic. I am afraid you're wrong again. hahahha.
And thats like the only place where Mb dont have a competitor at the moment have you ever counted all the other segments where MB has a car and BMW doesnt there are alot.
And? That's a different topic altogether. Toyota beats the hell out of MB if that's the topic that you want to stress. Hell, if you're basis of supremacy and overall quality is based on the amount of market segments covered, then that would mean that Suzuki is a better marque than Rolls-Royce, since Sir Henry Roll's company only has one offering. hahahhah.
I dont know what means you are talking about but all the means i know says that the A is old thats ehy a new one is comin. The face lift changes alot and who told u that the C class was poorly made do you want to se something poorly made go take a look at the X3.
Again, please point out the areas where the X3 is poorly made. Plastic bumbers maybe? So are the Merc's mate. Plastic bumbers are pretty much standard since they comply to worldwide safety requirements for pedestrians. Last time I checked, the "cheap" X3 outperformed MB's M-class. Hmmm...I wonder which SUV buyer got what he paid for?
Once again i have to say that the 5´s interior is poorly designed and SUCKS alot its really really bad with its stupd looking lnes and large compartments for sunglasses and god knows what.I have driven a 530d and my cousin has a E and i can promise that the e looks better.
I hope you know that the attractiveness of a car's design is based entirely on one's opinion. You might find the lines of the 5's interior stupid looking, but that's your opinion, and you have every right to have one. That still doesn't change the fact that there is still more plastic in the E-class, and the assembly isn't as well done, even though it charges a higher price.
Simply put; given that a consumer finds the "design" of both interiors equally appealing, (such as myself) I would check for the quality of assembly, and the materials used. Unfortunately for MB, I get better build quality and more premium materials with the cheaper 5-series.
I HATE THE 5.And im not the only one including old bimmer owners.
Again, I will repeat for your sake: BMW's current design is a matter of opinion. Recent surveys (such as mine at the public polls section) show that consumer acceptace is split nearly 50-50. What we are talking about here is overall performance, build quality, and value for money; and at the moment, BMW is ahead on all three.
I dont know about the survey´s but i can tell you that i had alot of probs with my 320i and now i have the S500 and its better then anything BMW pffers belive me i have checked them out.
Sorry to hear about your 320i problems. Sounds similar to those A,C,and E-class woes I've read about. I hope BMW sweden treated you well.
Likewise, your age, inability to spell, and lack of any punctuation knowledge highly raises the level of doubt concerning your S-class ownership.

It may be your father's, and if you're impressed with it, that's great. It's MB's best car. In fact, at the moment, it is arguably their ONLY good car.
I have one question for u do you think you will be young all your life????
Lets say you get old (i know its hard fo u to belive it) i dont think you will loose your interest in cars. So do you get the point ppl who like cars dont loose with the age OK. so maybe they knows more then you.
I didn't fully understand what you were trying to say there, but if you meant that maybe he lost interest with cars which therefore excuses from not knowing the current shoddy state of MB's products, well, let me put it this way...
HE, was never into cars. He bought MB's because during the 1970's, MB's were reputed to be the best cars money could buy. He bought an S-class then, and the one after that, and he's got the current one. I can't blame him for never changing his opinion of Mercedes - he's bought their
best car for the last four decades. He's never bought anything else... and he doesn't know any better either. WE (that includes you) are supposed to know better, simply because we are made constantly aware of all the inside information regarding anything related to motoring.
By the way Kudos to your fiance´s dad for having a good taste.
At least MB admits if they have a problem BMW just ignore it and makes Slower and uglier Cars.
Which one is slower?

Are you aware that ALL German marques except Porsche agreed to a 155mph limit for their products? Even then, stock BMW's regularly destroy stock (sometimes even modified) Merc's regularly on the track.
No i dont Belive you. By the way tell me when did BMW win a F1 championship????. So all ppl and brands have bad times and days u should know being a BMW (regular cars not f1) supporter...
I'm quite aware of their standing. Regardless, BMW has currenly only been in formula 1 for a few years, yet their cars are destroying whatever MB has had to offer. Hell, BAR-Honda and Renault are destroying Mclaren-Mercedes at the moment, and their budgets are smaller.
I'm not saying that Mercedes was never good. I'm saying that they are CURRENTLY not performing like they are expected to. I know that everybody has their day, but it certainly seems like Mercedes is going from bad to worse at the moment.
Im not gonna discuss this beacuse what do i or you know about why someone trades a S for a 5 maybe they needed a smaller car so its no point in this beacuse both you and i know that there are many Bmw´s at a merc dealer and vice versa...
Well, the thing is I'm from the Philippines, a third-world country. The only people who could afford an S-class are the VERY rich. Those who have about 2-4 chauffeurs for each member of the family. 1 for the father of the house, 1 for the mother, and 1-2 for the children. In elementary speak: those that can afford an S-class here, never drive them, so they have no reason to hassle themselves with the size of the car. That's their chauffeur's problem, something which they don't really have any right to complain about.
What do you meen by many are you talkin about the ppl you have threatned to like BMW or u will kill them??
Lol. I'm simply stressing my point.
Well seriously u know that Bmw lost alot of costumers with their new look.
And idont know why u are nagging about the mercedes ripping of their costumers i dont know why ppl by more mercs if they are like u say poorly built and has a lot of plastic and cost more then a bimmer???
By the way Bmw uses a lot of plastic and a UGly type of plastic to.
I'm sure BMW's new look has turned off a lot of traditional buyers. The direction they took was never meant to please everybody anyway. They wanted to start the ball rolling towards a more definitive, and forward-thinking look for the brand, which is exactly what they got.
But, I will repeat, the design is entirely subjected to taste.
More people will buy Mercs because of the brand. It is a well known, and widely accepted fact. If I told some regular joe on the street that an Audi A4 is a better deal for the money than a Mercedes C-class, he would think that I'm mad, but that TRULY is the case. I'm not saying BMW's, Audi, VW, or any other brand is devoid of plastics, I'm simply saying that Mercedes uses MORE plastic than some of the other brands, (which includes BMW and Audi) and STILL charges a price higher than the others.
Basically, when you purchase a Merc, you
generally get everything you should get with it: respect from your peers and colleagues, a good looking and luxurious german car, comfortable suspension, and some quirky amenities.
What you DIDN'T get was your money's worth. You could have had all of the above, AND MORE, with less money. That is what the survey represents, regardless of sales. Somebody out there may have finally been able to afford a Merc, but when he realizes that he could've gotten better value with some other car, it may seriously affect his repurchasing decision in the future.
So where does this leave BMW behing mercedes as always and will always be im sorry thats just the way life goes hahah.
And by the way if u don like my way to discuss then
SHUT YOUR TRAP......
Well, unlike you, I'm NOT the one WITHOUT any real evidence or data to disprove that my ship is not sinking.
All I know is that countless surveys, magazine reviews, video comparison, road tests, and intelligent discussions have proven that Mercedes needs to do some serious manueouvers to regain the ground that they have lost to BMW...and to a lot of other German marque's for that matter.
Again, toodles.
