Default Nice Nordschleife ideal line "guide"

Found this on BMW.com... article detailing every turn in Nordschleife. Also some random track times and facts. Even tells you what gear to take the turns, assuming you're driving an M3... i think. Lots of tips about the little nuances from a BMW test driver named Jörg Müller.

If you play Project Gotham Racing 2, or if you've driven here, this is a very cool link.

What a terrific article!

Thanks 'rift321'...

p.s

*How does the Nordschleife in 'Project Gotham Racing 2' & 'Grand Prix Legends' compare???

I'm very tempted to go and get a XBOX & PS2 so I can have 'GT2/GT3/GT4' & 'Project Gotham Racing 2'.

Grand Prix Legends and The Need For Speed don't work on my computer anymore(probably because I've converted my drive from FAT32 to NTFS).

the one in PGR2 is much better looking and has all the graffiti and cool little details. however, its not very accurate. its a lot wider, smoother, and easier to drive, basically. these are necessary things to do with an arcade-style game like PGR.

BUGGER!!!

Oh well, I might just stick with Grand Prix Lengends then...(I was hoping that that PG2's Nordschleife would be at least on par with GPL)

driving in PGR2 is awesome. Get the game - you'll love it, no matter what. If you're looking for extremely accurate car performance (for example, all 0-60 times perfect, shift points, etc.) look elsewhere. but the driving characteristics are the best i've seen in any game.
