turbos are expensive. the aftermarket is not very big and all the piping required and tunning of the car will cost a lot of money. go with a mustang 5.0 and slap on a supercharger on it. or do the same with an f-body.

are you crazy the aftermarket isnt big. do research on the aftermarket of import cars and how it has grown quickly and yes soon it will be just as big a the american aftermarket. dont get me wrong i love american cars and thats what i first started working on as a kid. but all you have to do is port and clip the stock turbo put a front mount other minor mods and your there and you dont have to worry about a belt coming off your supercharger. both turbos and superchargers are expensive it all depens on how fast you want to go. I will take a turbo over a supercharger anyday

please re read my post

i was referring to turboing a 5.0 or an f-body not turboing a civic or something. and yes when it comes to domestics as far as money is concerned supercharging is cheaper. i know for the vette a SC will cost you 5-6k and you can bolt it on yourself. while a turbo setup for the C5 will cost you around 12-15k.
