the less desirable cars in your area
Id like to get some opinion of fact, about your less desirable car make or model in your town, area, county, whatever....due to the bad results of the model, the lack of good service of it, the bad impression of a certain car in your country.........
there you go my list as an example or pattern from the origin of my country(Spain)
- the mini....it seems that there have been a lot of complaints from the mini customers in terms of electrical failures, and the airbag of it
- the peugeot 307, it seems that there have been many units where the 307 has had many failures with the electronic gadgets, such as the authomatic bulb turning, the non proper gauges indicating information
- The opel service....it seems that the delivery of any spare parts lasts for ages, and the 2.2 16V turbo diesel engine is supposed to be the most problemathic engine here, due to the oil loss, the electronic system of the engines failures.....
- Rover in general ...the delivery of the spare parts lasts a lot of time as opel, and the rover petrol engine(the non honda engine) gets a lot failure from the head
- Audi....apart from being the most expensive service here(quite more expensive than a mercedes one for the same mending, and a bit more expensive than the BMW)..the 1.9 TDI engine hasnt been very reliable here....it has given a lot of turbo failures
- Fiat, Lancia, Alfa Romeo.........in Spain, these italian brands deppreciate almost as much as they do in the UK when selling a first hand car to another person,mostly the lancia, in fact ive seen just about 2 lancia epsylon, 2 lancia lybra, no lancia thesis during the last 5 years on street, therefore, ive just seen about 4 old shape 166, and i havent seen any new alfa 166 on the street yet

Well around here in Egypt, service is shit, you pay too much and they're just too dumb to fix anything. And you don't get treated well either.
My friend's citroen xsara is notorious for a design defect which causes the air conditioning tubes to crack from the heat because they're too close to the engine. It went for a brake pad change - he changes brake pads every 10 000 Km! - and they've replaced it with a non-citroen part which damaged the discs. crap!
Honda are notorious for their expensive spare parts prices here, you pay almost as much as you'd pay at a BMW dealership for a 3 series part.
Ford have very bad service, very expensive and no spare parts available.
Renault suffer from spare part availability problems too, particularily the megane

In this area of michigan;
Honda - ridiculous resale values
BMW - the BMW dealers here are pompous assholes.....
Ford - every other car on the road is a ford truck. and you think i'm joking but i'm not. ask Nthfinity.
