Default mazda mx-6

i have a '93 mazda mx-6 LS - manual and i want to put a racing engine in it ...which one should i put since i dont know much about engines

ive always liked the jdm mazda 6 cyl. Its 200 hp, and i always enjoyed my american version 170 hp.

The JDM KL-ZE 6 cyl engine is a relatively easy swap for your KL-03 6 cyl engine. However there is some vacuum line complications which may prove difficult for a novice mechanic. If you are looking for a lot of information about the MX6 I suggest going to http://www.mx6.com. There is tons of information about KL-ZE swaps and the pains people go through to do them.

I don't know what you mean by a "racing engine" but I would like to see an MX-6 with the 13B rotary Twin-turbo from the JDM RX-7 8). 280hp and RWD. That should make the MX-6 more like a racing car.
