Well.. the chance of winning the National Lottery in the UK is 1 in 14 million. Tha's matching 6 numbers to get the jackpot. Recently somebody won £20m, but didn't claim it for a few weeks. It was a really deserving woman, cause she is going to die of cancer soon.

A few years ago a guy called Michael Caroll won £10m, and was branded "the Lotto Lout" due to his poor behaviour and trouble with the police.. like cocaine posession etc. He even built a banger racing track in his back garden

The only thing like this that i play on is Premium Bonds. You buy them in bunches of £100 and you can invest as much as you want. There is a prize draw every month, with £1m prize, as well as smaller prizes (£1k £100). The great thing is that you can get rid of your bonds and get your money back. the only negative side is that the fund does not gain interest.. but even interest is worth shit here @ 3-4%

the biggest game of Luck I ever played was a round of Indian Poker with a $200 pot.
And Poker in general although I bought one of those stupid instant win games when I turned 18 just for the hell of it and won $2.

The chance to win the Lotto Super 7 here is 1 in almost 86million. I've never bought a lottery ticket and I don't see myself buying many in the future.

easy come -> easy go. people who win money later have bigger money problems after they spend them than before, cause they dont know the value of them
