I had heard that it only had 300 miles on it too. And to think if I hit the lottery I would have bought it too. Wish I would have went up to Algar before the theft to get a closer look.

whoever did that deserves to be shot...i'm sorry but that's just completely heartless to steal a freakin F50, a car made to mark the 50th anniversary of one of the greatest car companies in the history of cars...

wow.....thanks for sharing those pics with us dude. Would you happen to know the car number? and there are 4 or 5, f50's crashed. and one f50GT crashed by art zafiurio in sanfansisco. And i know of one being sent back to modena for a re-build. dont know what happen to the others. got images of all the crashed cars too i think....and if you have more images dude could you please post them!!!!!!!!!

I saw pics of the F50 GT crash somewhere. it happened on a track due to cold tires. I heard that it was going to be rebuilt by Ferrari.
btw I have pics of the F50 in the Galleria Ferrari in Maranello (and any other car that's there). I may post them when I have the time.

I think the owner of the F50 Gt let someone else drive it that day at sears point. Alot of people crashed that day too. It was sad to see pics of it picked up by a fork lift.

yes, the owner let a racing driver (don't remember who) drive the F50 GT. it was some kind of an event. the tires were cold (it was just a demonstration lap) and the racing driver lost control at a point where the tarmac surface isn't consistent.

I wouldn't be surprised if the car was out of the country a few hours after being stolen!
Thats terrible that someone would steal it, but the dude had some serious balls to take it like that. I wonder if the salesperson lost his job?

these are all the rest i have:
I was talking to one of my friends who knows that dealer (and the people who work there) and he was saying that the owner said that he was hoping that it wouldnt sell cause he loved it being there in the dealership attracting potential Ferrari customers...hmmm
i also have a couple pics from inside/outside the dealer showing what it looks like, but they're all the size of those F50 pics and i didnt wanna post em unless someone wanted me to :roll:
