Wouldnt work anyway.. Us americans dont have pal tvs.
Out of curiousity.. Does anyone know if you can subscribe to top gear the magazine and recieve it here in america?

To my knowledge, DivX video doesn't have separate PAL and NTSC color codes, but just one divx video. Only VCD's (mpeg) and DVD-s should have em.
Plus, most of the newer TV's support both anyway.

graywolf: You can subscribe to it at
http://www.topgear.com/content/misc/magflash/
it costs £80 for US and £85 for the rest of the world to subscribe. They're selling for about CAD$12 per issue in local store here. So it's cheaper than subscription
insane: Actually, there're PAL (25fps) and NTSC (23.98fps and 29.97fps) DivX. However, unlike NTSC and PAL which have different "standard" resolutions, the list of possible resolutions for DivX is virtually endless. I won't go into much detail here, but they're different. I believe most divx compatible dvd players do convert between NTSC and PAL automatically though.
