Well... i hope so.... then my school might close on Monday

It's so in-between-y though. Never enough snow, just a little bit. It really pisses me off. Can we not have, say, a decent foot and-a-half of snow? Something to actually play with Remember, snowball fights are still a fun thing at 16 In fact, everybody loves them

[EDIT] Sorry for the mini- hijack pimrusis
Yep indeed we are off topic LOL lets hope for plenty of snow indeed

On the subject of top gear DVD's my best advice is use a dvd burner to burn all your top and 5th gear epsiodes onto dvd in avi format then play them on a divx dvd player... very cheap these days and very cool.... i love mine
I dont have all the avi's of the Clarkson dvds

To my knowledge, DivX video doesn't have separate PAL and NTSC color codes, but just one divx video. Only VCD's (mpeg) and DVD-s should have em.

Plus, most of the newer TV's support both anyway.
graywolf: You can subscribe to it at http://www.topgear.com/content/misc/magflash/
it costs £80 for US and £85 for the rest of the world to subscribe. They're selling for about CAD$12 per issue in local store here. So it's cheaper than subscription

insane: Actually, there're PAL (25fps) and NTSC (23.98fps and 29.97fps) DivX. However, unlike NTSC and PAL which have different "standard" resolutions, the list of possible resolutions for DivX is virtually endless. I won't go into much detail here, but they're different. I believe most divx compatible dvd players do convert between NTSC and PAL automatically though.

Top gear doesnt make DVD episodes of every episode they only do an end of season special with about an hours worth of TG on it.

Fifth gear doesnt do any atall

best thing to do is get a torrent downloader and go on Gear.viper007bond.com and download whole episodes of both programs from there

well its complicated, but well they have been known to steal this sites videos and rehost them as a torrent and we have had numerous arguements with them about numerous different things, just i'm sure most of us would prefer it if we didn't see that link on JW... brings back bad memories for me ( as well as some funny ones LOL) They stole a vid ripped by meyself for example and hosted for the DL/UL group kindly by deMon and rehosted it as a torrent without asking :x
