Trans Am WS6 6-speed for sale - Bike coming!
It's mine.
After toying with the idea of buying my wife her own car (primarily for taking the dog), the wife and I have decided we can survive with one car. This means that I will sell the Trans Am and we will get something more practical like an WRX wagon, A4/S4 avant or 325iT.
Well it's not all bad news, some of the money we were going to use to buy my wife a car will be used to buy me a new motorcycle so I can begin to instruct again (and make some money at the weekends doing something I enjoy) I am tempted to get a f-off big sports bike like an R1 or RC51 but they are not very comfy if you spend all day on them at relatively low speeds. So, we're looking at a DR650 or similar and then I can have some dirt fun too!
Sam, RC, and anyone else in Texas, if you might pass the word among your friends it would be much appreciated.
Car details: 2002MY (registered November 2001), WS6 Ramair package, premium wheels, "sunset orange metallic", 1 of 303 in this colour in Manual Transmission. 33998 miles, showroom condition, service records & manuals. TX DOT Inspection just carried out. All options except traction control. I am asking $19000. Of course, trade is possible for a wagon.
Please PM me if interested and I will send you the linky to the advert.

If i lived in the states and urs was black on black id probablu buy it from you right now lol. Besides cars like Maseratis, Ferraris Vanquishes etc the 93-02 Trans Am's are my absolute favorite car period but they have to be WS6 especially the 98-02 are just grogeous. I think they should of always used the styling of the Trans Am, but make it into a more expensive and refined car to compete with like Corvette, Porsche etc but then they would be competing with themselves cause Corvette is GM also. A shame.

LOL I have had a lot of interest already but mostly kids who just want to drive it, alas.
The deal is I drive you in it unless you have the cash and then you can drive it.
Upset a young (18-19 maybe) gentleman earlier today on this basis but tough!

/\ LOL
I wasn't aiming that comment at anyone or any age range in particular - It's just that I had an unfortunate incident selling a 1991 Accord three years ago where the lady who test drove it managed to write it off during a 10 minute drive. Luckily for me she paid the full asking price (which was only a thousand pounds) and even arranged for it to be towed.

It was a case of her only being insured third party so I 'held' the cash while she test drove the car with her son. I think they rear ended someone by the looks of the car when I saw it. At that point we then transferred the ownership of the Accord to her and that was the last I had to do with it. I was lucky she was honest as we only had a verbal agreement (I'd joked that if they had an accident they would have to buy the car off me). I was sad to see my car trashed but glad at the same time that no-one was injured and of course that I had 990 quid in my pocket!

Update: we have a buyer for the TA.
There may be some departure* videos soon... All on 'simulated' roads of course. Ahem.
*read as 'ragging the crap out of a V8'

^^^ HAHAH, look forward to the videos!
I had a bit of a nitemare buying a car a few weeks ago, went to look at a £500 E30 Beemer 325i sport me and me mate had bought off ebay, everything fine, car drove as youd expect, about to hand over cash and i break the only key in the door lock.
Next 3 hours spent, removing door lock barrel, beeting the shit out of it, gettin piece of key out, and forcing it into the ignition, to start the fucking thing!!!
Damn it.
Only just got the key piece out of the ignition barrel the other day, got a key cutter to do another, could just about from the broken key. So now hte ignition works, but we are still minus a door lock, and the key that now works in the ignition doesnt open the passenger door or boot!!?
Oh, and to make matters worse, when we were doing some rolling burnouts in hte quite hills (the quantocks) and we are turning round in a gateway a car comes along, so he ets us out. Me mate boots it, a bit sideways, then the guy starts tailgating us!? I see its a focus, (it was pitch black out so only headlights visable) so we cant understand who it is, so pull into his driveway, he follows, and puts the blues and twos on!!!!!!!! FUCK POLICE uh oh.
No MOT on it, oh shit, rubber marks all the way up the road, and some nice donught rings just outside hte drive!!! OH FUCK!
So me mate gets a little talking too by the copper, but he was a reasonable chap, he thought we'd nicked it but we said we'd just got it working and were testing it quitely! ops:
So he looks up the registered owner of the car, and its still in the old blokes name!!! Oh shit, then he calls in on me mates name, and theres a guy matching his description wanted!!!!!!!!! Luckily in nottingham, so other end of england.
But fuck me, i think this car is bad luck! Good fun tho!
Sorry for mamoth thread-jack, but your nitemare car sale story triggered my memory!!
