Yeah i was hoping it was a big shot like damon hill as well, but this guy has some serious experience including in F1. Theres no doubting his skills.

It was perry and damon hill, and another driver as well i think, I know the man who prepares all alfa's press cars, and he attended all the test days of the alfa cars, and prepared the cars themselves.

Didnt the Sun or the Star name Perry as the stig late last year?
anyways...i never really liked him [as a presenter or damon hill] when they were on F1+.
Ben & John were the best by a mile (sorry to all you Murray fans :p )

You guys remember the lawsuit for the million dollar Jag they wrecked? Perry McCarthy is named in the lawsuit, so I'm inclined to believe he is one of the many Stigs.

Nothing much, just typical stig style driving around the test track. End up with twisted drive shaft, worn tires and fried brakes. Not sure what other damages were there but apparently top gear has a different definition of "driving hard" from the car's owner.

Oh...when they said wrecked I thought they crashed it...well anyone lending a car to the stig should know it's gonna be driven hard...really hard  so what happened with the lawsuit?
