e21 trans/transfercase

Hey, where do you think this fluid is coming from? (this is a picture of the transfer case on my 1982 bmw 320i (e21)) im just wondering if this has something to do with my clutch(slave/master cylinder) problems, or is it just a transmission fluid leak, or is it engine oil coming from the leaky oil pan. Let me know what you think. Thanks

It's too far back to be oil pan. I'd say it's the output shaft seal for the driveshaft.
