Default The Engine Room: 959 S, 3x 512 BB, 300 SL, DB6, Cobra, ...

Finally I found some time to edit and upload the pics of my Engine Room visit. As I explained in the teaser topic, the Engine Room is a marvellous place where a lot of exclusive cars are stored and taken care of. Normally you can’t enter it, but some fellow petrol heads and me had the chance to visit it last weekend. Unfortunately last weekend wasn’t a good moment to visit it. The weather was good, so a lot of owners took there cars home to drive ‘m. But that didn’t spoil the fun: there was enough hot stuff to drool about.

We had a chance of visiting the room where they store the cars, the bar of the engine room, and the adjacent exclusive car second hand dealership and workshop. This visit had to be done in a pretty short time, hence I couldn’t take a lot of time to shoot the pics. And I was so stupid to forget my camera, so I had to run back to the car. As a result I don’t have pics of all the cars, but I’ll sneak a few pics not taken by me into this topic so most cars will be covered

Let’s start of with a few pics of the bar, which has a view over the garage were the cars are stored:

The star of the visit was defenitely this white Porsche 959 S (1 out of 29 made):

A normal 993 Carrera was also present:

Walking over to Ferrari: they had three 512 BB's:

A Testarossa, 360 Modena and Spider, 456M GTA and 400i:

Some unusual Maserati's: a Marek and a Khamsin:

Not the prettiest and most exclusive car in this room, but still not an every day sight, this Alfa SZ:

Conti GT - Gallardo couple:

Mentioning exclusive cars without Aston Martin is impossible. A Virage based Vantage and old school V8 Vantage:

And this DB6 is for sale:

A Jaguar XK140 in very good condition and an E-type series III (not 100% sure):

An AC Cobra (not sure if it is a real one or a replica):

Austin Healy:

Not super-exclusive: an original Mini:

I think this is a Rover P-something:

Very exclusive and expensive, a Merc 300 SL Roadster. It will be yours for the little sum of 205.000 euro (taxes not included):

A bit cheaper is this 190SL:

A BMW 840 and an old BMW. Does anybody know which type it is?

Also present were this Excalibur and Silver Seraph:

And some combo shots:

One of my rooms in the house one day will deffinitly look like this

Isnt this a proper piece of furniture for your office? \/ Who needs a sofa??? Came from the driving, drove into the room and while sitting in your chair at your desk (surfing at JW ofcourse) listening to clackles of hot engine

Best 355 pic I've ever seen  ofcourse that DB6 ass helps it to look so

Love the mini, old Beemer, 959S, jag XK140  and most of combo shots. Most of pics saved

Excelent work Wutput Thanx a million, still waiting for Ferrari's

seriously, these pictures are one of the best things to hit this part of JW latley!

Superb quality, good angles and attention for detail ( duh, it's you who we're talkin' about.,..)

This place is amazing. I would do this here in Slovenia, but on a smaller scale ofcorse...

Maybe I should pitch this idea to my boss at the mag. He's loaded. If I play my cards right, who knows....

Where to start on the cars...

the 959 is just  , it'll be my background for a while....the pics are great!

the 512 BB's are soooo good looking they should sign up for miss universe pagent or something. They don't need to have boobs and ass. Their curves are almost better looking. Maybe Vida fans will opose.

The Khamsin has one of the best looking asses put together in automotive history.
One of my favorite Masers ever!

The Vantage and the V8 are just so mean! Angry monsters!
I love them!

The red DB6 rear shot is a great picture.
That bright light is like, if you sit in this car and drive a couple of meters forward, you will reach heaven. I don't doubt that one bit...

The 300SL is a stunning car. The first and the best. imo.

Thx a bunch for these pics, I saved many!

Just some classic car info:
The old beemer is a BMW3200CS, from 1962, designed by bertone, V8 engine we all know, and only 602 coupés ever made, with one Convertible, made for BMW's major shareholder at the time, Dr. Herbert Quandt

Great pics dude....where is that place?

Wow.....even with many cars missing the lineup is impressive, definately headlined by the 959 S - VERY rare car
I agree with komotar that the 512BB's are sexy.....maybe not enough to compete against women in a competition though
Thanks for all the pics - will you have an opportunity to go back again (once the weather is REALLY bad)?

WOW! Stunning! Indeed a marvellous place! That 959 but also the Merak and Khamsin are great! I happened to see a Khamsin on the road yesterday, and it does't happen every day actually!

Thank you dude! Very good pics!

The weather is getting better and better over here, since the summer starts knocking on the door. But I'll do my best to go back again during winter time I hope most owners aren't Frank Mountain like and leave their cars in this place when it's snowing

Fantastic pictures, Wutputt!

Highlights for me were:
 the blue 512 BB (the red ones weren't bad either, obviously )
the Maseratis...
Il Mostro (the SZ)
8) the Aston Martins
the silver Gallardo

and

reluctantly, the 959 S for its rarity alone.
