well, i ripped into my step-dad hard last night via AIM. i flat out asked him why he would risk a marriage that with one exception is perfect, for someone who does nothing with his life and continues to fuck up at every bend.

his response was "you don't have kids so you don't understand"

and that whomever is this childs real monther musta been a real crackie thats for sure

my mom suspects fetal alchohol syndrome. his little brother is also adopted and my mom doesn't allow them to be in the same room together, though he is showing signs of following his brother :roll: i really hope we can save him because he is a nice kid and unlike his older brother, has a future.

before he left for the Marines, he gave his brother all his porn, which had they been playboys i honestly can't say i would have disagreed, but instead it was the hardcore specialized stuff.

Like i said, the list is endless. :x

My mom is taking steps in the right direction and has said that before he is ever going to be welcome in the house he is going to be required to go th threapy. She has already made an appointment.

apparently he was already going to a therapist, but she made the mistake of telling him 4 sessions minimum, well he decided that at the end of the 4th session he was done. So now my mom has set up an appointment with a male counselor, so hopefully his style will be more effective (my mom is not paying for this shit btw, i don't know who is)

on an upnote, my mom just passed her real estate test, so now she is lisenced in Washington to sell real estate

looks like i may have a reason to go back to seattle afterall

i'm really happy for her because now she can do something she actually wants to do instead of accounting which she did to support us while she was a single mother

Ok, this died 6 months ago, but he's at it again. This time on myspace.com. Happy ending though, I joined for the express purpose of owning this little shit which i did quite nicely

Hey Zfrk, man I'm sorry to hear about all this - I missed this thread back in January or I'd have posted a response with some words of support. Well if you ever need to vent PM me and we'll go on AOL or MSN or whatever. I have a stepbrother and while he's an angel compared to yours I still have my issues with that side of the family, predominantly his mum screwing my dad over financially.

I'm not saying child support shouldn't be paid and the story is too long and boring to discuss here, but there is a difference between 'fair and reasonable' and 'taking the piss'

the majority of the drama has died down at this point. About now i would say just he is family amusement. "what stupid shit has he done lately?" sort of thing. But i couldn't just let this shit slide. especially his comments about the Marines. i may not support the war, but when you latch yourself onto something major like that, you better damn well have been a part of it!! Just plain disrespect to those over there fighting.
